The Challenge
The ‘Compliance Suite’ project was the development of a suite of online compliance training resources. The compliance training resources were to be tailored to the working environments of Collins Food Group employees.
The suite of compliance resources were focused on the topics of Health & Safety, Discrimination and Harassment & Bullying.
The Approach
The resources were built with an interactive story-based concept, immersing team members in the compliance situation to keep them engaged.
Resources were developed to accommodate the different employee groups, including in-store employees, head office employees and managers.
An avatar “Colin” was used to provide advice and guidance to participants as they worked through the compliance courses.
Each resource contained a quiz at the end, comprised of situational questions to check for understanding and record completion of the compliance resource.
The
Results
The compliance resources were rolled out across the Collins Food Group network.
The use of the avatar “Colin” was well received with Colin making subsequent appearances in other training resources.
